Alright, so here goes my first blog post. The reason i've signed up for this blog is because of the english class i'm taking at UCLA. And by UCLA, yes, I do mean University of Cerritos Left on Alondra. I've met a few interesting people here, and I hope to meet many more. I especially hope to meet new friends in this english class. And I honestly really do mean it. I love making new friends(:

    i get the beginning"speak without offending" but idk about the "listen without defending" lol... care 2 clear 4 me...

    The way I look at it is like this.. when you get into an argument with someone, you should speak your opinion without trying to offend the other person. and then when you find yourself on the other side, actually LISTEN to what the person has to say instead of trying to interrupt them with your thoughts and feelings. let them finish what they're trying to say... get it..? lol. or did i make it worse?

    HEY THERE. THANKS FOR THE SUPPORT... LOVING THAT UCLA THING, VERY CLEVER! BUT YEA UR QUOTE SHOWS A UNIQUNESS ABOUT YOU. I LIKE THA "LISTEN WITHOUT DEFENDING PART" I FIND THAT 2 MANY PEOPLE ARE CLOSED MINDED AND REALLY DNT LISTEN TO BOTH SIDES OF OPINIONS. OH YEA WHAT COUNRTY SINGERS DO U LISTEN TOO?

    as for country artists, i listen to all. however, i'm a HUGE fan of Rascal Flatts<33 i have like.. EVERY song of theirs on my ipod(: lol. but a few other favorites are diamond rio, emerson drive, lonestar, carrie underwood, taylor swift (although she's kinda turnin' pop), REBA<333, tim mcgraw, kenny chesney, john denver, keith urban, brad paisley... omg. the list is so long. >____< i can't stop... i just LOVE countryy<33

I DONT LISTEN TO A LOTTA NEW COUNTRY, BUT I DO LISTEN TO RASCAL FLATTS, I LISTEN TO JOHNNY CASH, WILLIE NELSON, WAYLON JENNINGS, HANK WILIAMS JR, AND OTHERS THAT MADE WHATS KNOWN AS OUTLAW COUNTRY... BUT I MIGHT HAVE TO CHECK OUT THE NEWER ARSTIST CUZ EVERYONE SAYS THERE SO GREAT LOL >_<
